Recast from her original molds and handcrafted of RealTouch® vinyl, this one-of-a-kind doll collectible features mottled skin that is skillfully hand-painted by Linda Smith, layer upon layer, creating the lifelike look of actual newborn skin. She utilized specialized painting techniques to recreate soft blushing, realistic shading and other details. You can even see the subtle veins beneath! With hand-set bright blue genuine glass eyes, hand-applied lashes and hand-rooted mohair, plus a poseable cloth body that is weighted for optimal realism, no detail was overlooked. Katie arrives exquisitely dressed in a custom 6-piece ensemble that was hand-tailored by our master inhouse seamstress. Her French bubble outfit is fashioned from pastel blue silk dupioni and is enhanced with woven lace, organza, hand-sewn woven ribbons and faux pearls.
